The SVP, Revenue sets business goals (e.g maximizing revenue) and solves internal issues when needed. The SVP of revenue has extensive management experience and has strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.They supervise sales managers and employees and evaluate each department’s sales performance. They set company sales goals and develop sales strategies. They proactively evaluate seller performance and coach, guide, mentor, and manage as necessary. They also ensure employee compliance with company policies. To succeed in this role, it’s essential to have extensive management experience in this field and strong strategic and analytical thinking capabilities.


  • Overviews daily sales operations.
  • Sets performance/financial goals and attains them through team direction and management.
  • Assess, evaluates, and reports on overall team and individual team member performance.
  • Prepares and allocates budgets.
  • Researches and identifies new business opportunities.
  • Seeks out new business tools and methods.
  • Collaborates with other executives and SVPs to decide on business strategies.
  • Evaluates department’s profits and revenue, and calculate risk.s
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and local, regional and federal regulations.
  • Builds and approve the department’s hiring plan
  • Guides and supports VPs and managers for sales team.
  • 10+ years experience with a strong Leadership background for large, complex organizations.
  • Experience in a managerial or executive role in this industry
  • Strong experience in project management and budgeting
  • Great understanding of business functions (Sales, Engineering, etc.)
  • Demonstrable ability and proven track record in strategy-building and implementation
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Team player
  • Degree in Business Management or relevant field
